The New York Family Business Center is a membership organization. By joining the NYFBC you and members of your family business will receive access to experts in the field. You will be part of a community! This community includes family business of all sizes and generational experience.

Membership Eligibility

In keeping with the New York Family Business Center's vision we have created these eligibility requirements so members are able to communicate freely in exclusive, informal environments with an emphasis on privacy.

Family Business

Eligibility is limited to businesses in which the family has meaningful ownership and has two or more family members working in the business.

Emerging Family Business

We are extending our membership to privately owned first generation family businesses who plan on or considering bringing family members into the business.

• Two complimentary tickets to the centers scheduled forums
• Consulting access to our family business professionals
• Complimentary membership to our monthly member only roundtables
• Borrow books, CD's, newsletters, magazines from our resource library at no charge
• Complimentary 12 month entrepreneurial membership to Centerstate CEO if not already a member

• Family members of participating companies whether they are involved in ownership, business operations or employees
• Key non-family employees and board members of participating companies
• Family members committed to good succession planning
• Forward thinking: plans for the future Family firms with one or more members of the family

Annual Membership

Membership fees are tiered and determined by company annual revenue. To learn more about membership please contact Donna Herlihy at (315) 579-2871.

• Less than $2 million = $500
• $2 million – $8 million = $1000
• $8 million - $15 million = $1500
• $15 million + = $2000

Annual Supporting Member $5,000

A family business supporting member will be recognized by having their name listed on our website and on our NYFBC marketing informational material.  The family business will also have complimentary admittance for three family members or key employees and 2 guest passes for each NYFBC event.

Guest Policy

Non Members (family businesses) are welcome at our events.  After attending one or two of our events and finding it valuable we ask that you become a member to attend further events.  Thank you.
